Rocky River Fall Art Festival, Call for Artists!

mark your calendars, this should be a great show!

and since this is the first year, the city of Rocky River is not charging a table fee, just asking for a donation to the raffle at the Preview Party. sweet!

the two-day festival will be held in the Olde Detroit Shopping area on Friday, September 18th from 6 to 9 p.m. (including a Preview Party benefiting the Rocky River Parks and Recreation Foundation) and Saturday, September 19th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Friday! open gallery in Rocky River

this Friday, March 28th at 7pm will be the second Gallery Night at Papercuts & Gluesticks, a new gallery in rocky river. Kari, the owner, says all are welcome to attend, so that means you! she promises new art on the walls and drinks and hors d'oeuvres on the tables and on the house ;)

the gallery is located at 20119 Lake Road in Rocky River (next to Wild Flour Bakery) and you can call 440.799.4344 with any questions.

i'm super excited to see this gallery in person, it looks great in the pictures i stole from kari's blog, no? ;) and there are very cool classes there to sign up for AND every sunday at noon beginning March 30th is the Art Swap and Collaboration meet up where EVERYONE is welcome to come and make and trade art, more info here.

there have been artists from Etsy featured in the gallery which is very cool and Kari also said that she wants to have space available for artists to meet. so, this could be a possible future meeting place for our team, how sweet is that? let's stop by and welcome her to the neighborhood ;)

The 2008 Spring Boutique will be Friday, April 11 from 7 to 9 pm and Saturday, April 12 from 9 am to 1 pm at the Rocky River Memorial Hall, 21012 Hilliard Blvd, Rocky River OH 44116.

There will be a mix of artists, crafters, and vendors (Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, and Home Interiors).

Please Note: the jewelry category is full, and the deadline to apply for a table is March 14th. You can get an eight foot table for $20.
