Call for Artists-Rowdy Indie Craft Fair, Akron

Rowdy Indie Craft Fair, Sunday December 4th, 2-10 pm (Vendor's selling hours are 2-8pm) at Studio 526 located at 526 Grant Street, Akron, OH 44302

APPLY ONLINE HERE

Vendor's hours will be from 2pm-8pm. Bands will play in the lobby starting
at 6:30 until about 10pm. Vendors must stay until 8pm but have the option to
continue selling until 11 if they wish.

Applications are due October 21 and those accepted will be informed no later
than October 28. Contracts and a $30 vendors fee will be required by
November 4 in order to reserve a space.

Art and craft sellers will present their handmade items inside the spacious former Blockbuster video location.

Show Opportunity in Akron- Sunday August 14th



Cleveland Handmade team member Brit Charek of holdenallan.etsy.com is helping to organize an event in Akron on Sunday, August 14th at
Studio 526 right across from Thirsty Dog Brewing Co. The plan is: open the doors and start selling at noon, along with artwork on display on the gallery side, then around 7pm there will be bands performing.

She is hoping to work in cooperation with the University Park Street Fair, held on Saturday, August 13th, and she will have access to Sunday's
venue on Saturday night, so sellers who want to work both shows can move
their set-up just down the street.

Different Things Gallery is organizing an outdoor Summer Art Market Art Market at the Fairview Centre, scheduled for Friday and Saturday, June 10 & 11, 11am-7pm both days.

Local artists and designers are welcome to come and sell their work. In addition to visual artists and
designers, they are looking for local dancers, musicians, comedians, actors and other
performers.

Call for Artists! Valley City Frog Jump 8/14/11

The 50th Anniversary Valley City
Frog Jump Festival, is Sunday, August 14, 2011 and its organizers are looking to add an offering of local artists to display and sell their handmade goods and art during the event.

Outdoor tables will be provided, tents are allowed but not required. The Frog Jump runs from 10am-6pm and features food and beverages sold by the local chamber of commerce and girl and boy scout troops. The event has a long-standing tradition of being a family oriented with little or no commercial or for-profit vendors.

Call for Artists- Roxboro Art Festival Cleveland Hts

"For almost 30 years, the Roxboro Elementary PTA has hosted an arts festival designed to bring together the Heights community in celebration of the arts, our school and our children. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2011 on school grounds from 11am‐3pm. The Roxboro Arts Festival is a day of hands‐on fun for children highlighting arts and crafts activities. It is also a party for the community with food, entertainment and an arts and crafts sale. Every year, local artists and craftpersons join our celebration to exhibit and sell their wares. We invite you to join us on Saturday, May 21st to share your talents with families of the Roxboro schools and the entire Heights Community. artistic vendors to sell during their event. $100 for a 10'x10' supplied tent, one

Call for Artists, Cleveland Handmade Market at Orange Art Center


Our first Market of 2010 is going to be on Sunday, June 27th at the Orange Art Center. The application (both an electronic and paper version) is available. Please visit http://ClevelandHandmade.com/2010-applications for details and to apply.

Our second Market will also be at the Orange Art Center, on Sunday, August 22nd. We will then have two smaller shows downtown at the Wooltex Gallery in the Tower Press Building. One on Saturday, September 11th, and one on Saturday, December 4th. The last, and largest, Market of the year will be our 3rd annual Last Minute Market on Saturday, December 18th at the Lake Erie Building. For the second year in a row, we will be collaborating with I Made It! Market Pittsburgh and the Screw Factory Artists to make a wonderful Market and Open Studio event. There will also be a PIT vs. CLE Craftoff rematch!

My partner & I are hosting a 3 day "ART & FIBER FESTIVAL" on
Memorial Weekend. Many types of wares will be represented
including: art, jewelry, needlework, bath & body, eco & green things,
candles, pottery, paper goods, stained glass, accessories, woodworking,
tasty morsels & cultural items, plus more to be added. We would like
to invite you to join us setting up to sell as a self representing artist.

The location is "The Ponderosa Park & Resort" in Salem, Ohio. The
grounds are 150AC's & gated, in an affluent area, including a restaurant &
is RV & pet friendly. You will be responsible for your own canopy,
tables & chairs, with a few spots under the pavilion available. You can
design your booth area the way you want & camping is allowed!

own wool, raising French Angora Bunnies. Tracey is a multi-faceted artist
involved in many mediums. She was just chosen to become a featured artist
in "The Mac Worthington Gallery", which is located in Columbus, Ohio.

Sip into the Holidays

an Auction to benefit the Lakewood Division on Aging

The evening will be highlighted by an auction of hand painted wine, martini, and champagne glasses designed by local artists.

Local artists are invited to create/paint/decorate glasses, which will be auctioned at the Sip into the Holidays charity event.

The auction, featuring one-of-a-kind glasses created locally, is an opportunity for painters, decorators, and other creative people to use wine, champagne or any other glass as their palette. Glasses can be painted/decorated in any style, from traditional to outrageous, colorful, sculptural, decorative, whimsical or avant-garde. We ask that you design at least two(set) for the auction.

The individual artists will provide glasses, all paint, and any other materials..

There is no entry fee and glasses must be completed and dropped off to Local Girl Gallery by Saturday, November 15, 2009. A brief description of each glass set, its title, and an artist/designer bio will be printed for guests at the auction. The event is limited to the first forty-five artists who register.

Rocky River Fall Art Festival, Call for Artists!
